The main WordStat Dictionary page allows to select an exclusion list and a categorization dictionary, and set various text analysis options.


The drag and drop editor allows to easily assign words to categories.

 


The Frequencies page displays a frequency table of words or content categories.

 


The Crosstab page allows you to examine the relationship between keywords and cagegorical or numerical variables.


The Keyword-in-Context page displays specific words associated with a content category in their context.


The report feature provides another way to display keywords in their context.


The Phrase Finder page allows the itendification of the most frequent phrases or idoms in a text corpus

 


The integrate editor allows to edit documents, import text files and view categorized words.


The dendrogram page can show keyword co-occurrences or document proximity.


Multidimensional scaling (2D and 3D) may also be used to examine proximity of keywords or cases


Proximity plots are useful to examine the distance of all keywords to a specific one
or identify documents or cases that are the most similar to a given document.

 


Proximity statistics may also be viewed in more details with this table of co-occurrences.

 


From the Crosstab page bar charts may be used to examine
the relationship between keywords and categorical variables.


A 3D perspective view of the relationship between keywords and categorical variable.


Line charts may be used to examine the relationship between keywords and ordinal or numeric variables.


Heatmaps are especially useful to explore large frequency crosstabulation tables
of keywords or content categories by categorical or numerical variables.


Correspondence plots allow to examine the relationship among and between
keywords and values of categorical or ordinal variables.

 


Correspondence plots in 3D may be rotated. It is also possible to hide the walls, edit the values.


Correspondence analysis statistics may be printed or saved to disk.
