XLSTAT-Ada

XLSTAT-ADA (ADA stands for Advanced Data Analysis) makes it possible for XLSTAT users to run multiple tables methods. These methods are useful for a variety of applications, ranging from ecology to marketing. Additional methods will soon be added to XLSTAT-ADA.

XLSTAT-ADA contains currently the following features:

FEATURES:

CANONICAL CORRESPONDENCE ANALYSIS:

Use Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA) to analyze a contingency table (typically with sites as rows and species in columns) while taking into account the information provided by a set of explanatory variables contained in a second table and measured on the same sites.

Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA) has been developed to allow ecologists to relate the abundance of species to environmental variables (Ter Braak, 1986). However, this method can be used in other domains. Geomarketing and demographic analyses should be able to take advantage of it.

XLSTAT allows to remove the information provided in third table, using Partial CCA. A permutation test is also available to test if the relationship between the contingency table and the explanatory variables is significant or not.

GENERALIZED PROCRUSTEAN ANALYSIS (GPA):

GPA is used in sensory data analysis before a Preference Mapping to reduce the scale effects and to obtain a consensual configuration. It also allows to compare the proximity between the terms that are used by different experts to describe products.

MULTIPLE FACTOR ANALYSIS:

Use the Multiple Factor Analysis (MFA) to simultaneously analyze several tables of variables, and to obtain results, particularly charts, that allow to study the relationship between the observations, the variables and the tables. Within a table, the variables must be of the same type (quantitative or qualitative), but the tables can be of different types.

A trial version of XLSTAT-Ada is included in the main XLStat-Pro download.

1. E-mail only - a registration code will be e-mailed to you that will unlock the demo version of the program from our web site.
2. With CD-ROM - this costs an additional £15 ($30) + shipping & handling.

If you already have XLStat-Pro then use the section below to order just the advanced module. Please send us your original XLStat-Pro serial number, either in the Special Instructions section of the order form or in a separate e-mail.

Notes:

1. Academic prices (where offered) apply to students and staff at educational institutions using the software for research as well as charities/NGOs and residents of least developed countries. Governmental bodies pay the commercial price. Commercial prices also apply if the software is to be used for commercial consulting within universities.
2. VAT - Customers within the UK will have Value Added Tax at 17.5% added to the order. Those in other countries in the European Union will also have VAT added, unless they are registered for VAT in their own country and supply their registration number with their order (in the "Special Instructions" section at checkout). Our VAT registration number is GB 625 3760 41.

4. All credit card orders are charged in British pounds. The US$ prices apply only when paying in US$ by check (drawn on a US bank) or bank transfer.

The program may only be used on a single computer, or by a single user on up to two computers (i.e. a single user can use it on both an office computer and a laptop, so long as no one else is using those computers).
